I got an admission at EESM@CMU, and I am hesitating whether take this admission or not. Could anyone here share his/her life there? I mainly cared about questions like: What will the students mainly do after graduation? How about the possiblity of starting PhD life in CMU? Thank you!

Hey guys, how about environmental engineering at CMU? It confuses me a lot while CMU's MS program is only one year program without a thesis. How could they ranked at 6 according to USN&WR?

My major is environmental engineering, applied MS. My UG major is chemistry, there are a lot of questions. CMU's non-thesis program has a high rank while a huge cost. and I have to make one more semester for the undergrad courses. NCSU's rank is not as well as CMU, but it with thesis, I suppose it will be better for an non-environemental field guy to familiar with this major. I Do not have much experience of American way of thinking,WHICH ONE WILL U CHOOSE?
