I got my acceptance letter in the mail Monday. I haven't heard about anyone else getting waitlisted. I will be turning it down though, so hopefully it will help you!

Hi everyone! I am trying decide between Purdue and Emerson. Obviously they are both very different, but I was wondering if anyone could give me your prospective of each. I have a double major in CD and psych and am involved in a research grant. I am very interested in Autism and neurogenic communicative disorders. I am also planning on doing a masters thesis. My plan is to eventually pursue a Ph.D or SLP.D after working a few years in a rehab/medical setting. I haven't visited either school, but I plan on going to both next weekend to get a better feel of the programs.

That's a good question. I know that The University of Alabama accepted 26 students, and 10 are on the waiting list. It is a very competitive program with over 200 applicants.

What is everyone wearing to the NYU interview day? And does anyone know if TC Columbia does interviews? I hope not because I am from AL and don't want to make two trips to nyc for interview days. Hey everyone! I just received my acceptance in the Master's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences! I have never been to West Lafayette or even Indiana, so I have no idea what to expect! Does anyone have any advice about where to live? I want to live by myself in a very safe area (preferably gated). Also, does anyone have any information about assistantships? Does Purdue provide alot of funding for Master's students? Sorry I have so many questions. I am just very overwhelmed right now. This is so exciting and unexpected!

Hey everyone! I had an interview at Georgia State University last Friday (Feb. 26) and have an interview at NYU March 12 at 2p.m. I got rejected from Chapel Hill and Vanderbilt. I received an email today asking me to RSVP to Purdue's open house on March 12th "for applicants who have been admitted to our SLP Master’s program and our Au.D program." I never received an acceptance letter, so I am very confused by this. Does this mean I am in?!?! Did anyone else receive this email? I am still waiting to hear from TC Columbia, Emerson, University of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Alabama, Montevallo, and Auburn University. Good luck to everyone!
