I don't think Stanford is done though. I feel like there would be at least 5-6 more posts on the board.

Why? It's a small cohort/program. Last year only one gradcafe poster got in.

They have also never done waves from what I see.

It's probably done and rejection letters should be coming out soon.

Hey Comparativist, Why are you so sure that Northwestern is definitely done? I am still waiting an answer from them.

A couple of people here have commented that they already had their admitted student visit (or is very soon, can't remember exactly when it is/was). I doubt they would do that without sending out all their acceptances.

In the last few years, Stanford has been more towards the later weeks of February. Last year, they were around the 15th, but that was by far the earliest they send out acceptances. Usually, they are more around the 20th.

I think you might be a bit confused.

Last year their results were on the 10th, the year before that the 28th of January. The year before that, Feb 20th.

So yeah, all over the place.

how do you know UNC is done? I assumed they were based on the number of acceptances on the results page, but I have no actual intel.

I don't for sure. But given the amount of acceptances and then two days of silence... I would wager that one is over. Maybe a couple of trickles given their history but as far as 'decisions to expect' it's done.

Let's get a list of predictions going? Possible schools sending out decisions next week:

    • Columbia
    • Duke
    • MIT
    • Notre Dame
    • Penn State
    • Stanford
    • UMN
    • UNC

Any disagreements? Who else are we waiting for?

    UNC is done.

I doubt we see that many schools, but next week is historically the biggest week. Probably see a few of those the week after (Columbia and Stanford for example).
