yah i am applying for spring 2017 as well ,, and exactly the same thing happened for me.. it's really weird, but i think it's an automated email which is sent by the system when the admission is closed. anyways we'll see what will happen soon, I am expecting the final results around mid December, because this is the case in the previous year. If you get any news or response from them keep us updated.
