Hey! I'm brand-new to this forum; I hope this is an appropriate place to ask my question (if not, would someone direct me to a better place? :D) I'm almost done with my mechanical engineering undergraduate degree, and I want to continue on to get a masters degree in biomedical engineering. I really want to learn in an environment that lends itself toward, if not directly teaches toward, applying the knowledge in low-resource, underpriviledged areas. I've found two programs so far that have inspired me to pursue this: 1) Rice University's GMI program (http://gmi.rice.edu/) 2) Northwestern University's CIGHT program (http://www.mccormick.northwestern.edu/research/innovation-global-health-technologies-center/education/index.html) Does anyone know of more programs similar to these or how I can find out about them??
