Say you get an HM. What do you do with that? Is that just like a resumé booster? I’m a second year grad student, so I can’t apply again. And I’m assuming there’s no money for HMs. So what do you gain from an HM?
You get time on national computing clusters if that does anything for you but besides that it's just resume

I received it and I'm in grad school. There werent many fields with an option to update (just school, field of study, and specialization) so I doubt it's all that important

been in my own bubble of research in socal and was like huh is it supposed to rain or something? hope everyone is staying safe on the east coast! also agreed I don't think anyone on this thread is delusional enough to think that predicting the day will help with acceptance chance but it's helping me feel like i'm not the only crazy anxious one.

Hey guys! Question to anyone who had the MIT interview dec 30-31...I was abroad without wifi over that time and am having the interview in the next week or so. Anyone have tips on how technical the questions are or what to expect? Thanks!!

Yes I received a call and email from a professor on behalf of the admissions committee but haven't gotten any official papers from NW itself. Best of luck with Scripps!!

Hi guys! I do think the video is completely optional for chemistry majors. I didn't do it and got the same warning message but I was accepted on Saturday! Still freaking out about other school though and best of luck to everyone
