  1. @ServeNStudy Same. I work in Alzheimer's currently and want to transition but don't know how without the requisite background. Sounds like we're in the exact same boat. Holding out hope for one more school but I'm in a bind
  2. to build on @ServeNStudy Is it possible to get into PhD Psychology programs without having at least co-authored AND having made a connection with key faculty? I have neither. The givens are GRE scores and grades (don't have these either...) and some lengthy research at a reputable institution.
  3. Does anyone know if having not heard about an interview from these PhD programs yet is a likely NO? Boston Univ. - interviews going out Weds. apparently? Stanford PhD (not PsyD Consortium) ... UVM - heard from director of admissions and highly unlikely as all interviews are out Boston College ... U of Wash (not Child Clinical PhD)... U Wisconsin Madison... UNC - No, heard from director of admission Harvard - E-mailed POI who indicated interviews go out on faculty basis and that some but not all have gone out UVA (arts & sciences) not looking good but reason for hope? A lot of highly highly competitive, (mostly) east coast programs. I may have burned myself (no pun intended). 164/156/4.5 V/Q/W; 3 years of research with two regionally and nationally known PIs; GPA 3.2 but from a top 5 US ranked liberal arts school
