Claim a Cornell acceptance! IR subfield.

Acceptances from Emory and Penn State, and also formal rejection from Duke = =.

This is really disappointing...Both Kosuke and Davis are great professors that I hope to work with. Then there's only Milner who is mentioned in my SOP and still at Princeton.

For mine, they asked about my education and writing sample, and let me ask several questions about their program. The interview lasted for about 30 minutes.

Just finished my interview with Emory. They said that decisions are going to be made from this week, and probably notifications will be sent in the next two weeks. I know it's a long time span so maybe it's not really helpful, but that's all I've heard.

Claim acceptance from Princeton! IR subfield. I'm in Asia so it was almost 3am when I woke up and saw the email. Still hard to believe all of this.... Good luck everyone!

Did anyone apply to Emory? I just received an email from DGS says that the decision will be made next week. I'm also invited to a skype talk with the faculty, did anyone know what it is? Is it an interview or something else? The email says that "I am writing to see whether you will be able to speak with our faculty via Skype. We are unable to fly you to campus from XXX for our visitation weekend, but we are hopeful that you might be interested in talking to us a bit about our program." I can even choose the faculty I'd like to talk with.
