Called the graduate school office and asked for an update. Rejected. Not surprised at this point, but still bummed. Congrats to those admitted!

Same! The email says the decision letter will be made available within 1-2 business days. Shouldn't they send the email AFTER the letter is available? Sigh. This process....

Mine still says "applied" as well. It's possible that this means we are on the waitlist. I also haven't heard of any acceptances yet. It might be worth waiting and seeing what happens tomorrow when the school is open again (even though the wait is terrible). Best of luck!

I'm wondering if anyone else has heard from UMass Amherst? Dying for information.... this wait has been rough.

I'm waitlisted at CUNY for the critical psych program, and haven't heard anything since the initial waitlist email either. I know they invited 10 students to the interview weekend (not sure how many slots), so not too hopeful.

I sent concise emails stating my continued interest in the program, and my happiness at the possibility of hearing back from them in the future. I avoid anything negative! I also attached an updated CV to my emails, as I had a couple of posters accepted to conventions since submitting my applications in the fall. Hope this helps, and good luck! Haven't heard anything from either school. I heard from a current BC student that they haven't made any offers yet.

I am feeling the same! I am waitlisted at two schools, and got my first official rejection this week. Most of the schools I applied to don't interview, so I am in the dark as far as their timelines. I have also prepared myself with the idea that I will be reapplying next year. I learned a lot through this process. I have some holes in my application that will be addressed by the time the next admission cycle rolls around. And, there's always the chance of the 11th hour miracle. Fingers seriously crossed for that outcome. Hang in there! You're not alone!

Agreed! York is the only Canadian school I applied to, so I am very unclear as to how their timeline usually works out. Although, I am still awaiting responses from a lot of my U.S. schools too. AH!

I applied to York's social program, and haven't heard a peep. Anxiously awaiting their response!

I haven't heard anything from Colorado State; I'm hoping they're just behind. I haven't seen anything about the social program on the forums either. Fingers crossed.

I did not. As far as I know, they don't do interviews.... I could be wrong about this though. I'm nervous to hear back from this one. It's a reach for me (low GRE quant), so I don't have very high hopes Best of luck to you!

Also, if there are any applicants to UMich's joint Psych and Women's Studies program (I'm fairly sure I saw someone post about it at some point), I talked to someone today who said acceptances and rejections will be going out either this week or next! Ah!
