  1. My god, I just took the Powerprep practice test and got a combined 700!!! Christ almighty. I am horrible at math and no matter how much help I get it just doesn't help. I did poorly on the english too, my answers that were wrong could actually have been right, just one of the aspects that pisses me off about the GRE. If this happened to be my score sent to grad schools, given my undergrad record in another thread which is very good, what would be my chances of getting into grad school?
  2. Thanks for that, I'm pretty much shooting for a combined total of 900, and a miracle will occur if I get a 1000! Just curious, what was your undergrad record like?
  3. The book really annoys me with pluggin in, thats all they talk about...nothing else! Is this site representative of what is on the gre, math wise? http://www.testprepreview.com/gre_practice.htm Cause if it is then there will be a hell lot of work I gotta start doing! Oh and for those who have taken it, did the GRE contain rate problems where you have to make charts and stuff?

    GRE Worries

Thanks for the replies guys...and please no fighting, go do that 10year old stuff somewhere else. Most of the schools I am applying to require at least a 500 on verbal and analytical so I should be good. Im just nervous about the math section, I'm sure I'll wind up with a 400 or so:( And I have been studying, its a pain cause I remember very little as far as math goes!
  5. Hey gang! Newbie here, I've been worrying about the GREs that I will be taking in a month. I was just wondering how much the GRE is looked at when applying to a general/clinical Psychology Masters program. My undergrad record is: 3.871 Major GPA 3.62 Overall GPA In Psychology I have: been a teacher's assistant interned at a hospital participated in research graduated with honors been inducted into the Psi Chi society. Now with that stated, if I receive somewhere around a 500 for the verbal and math section(or lower), would the undergrad record be more important? I'm just really worried, as most probably are, about taking these tests, especially the math section, ugh! Thanks so much!
