They looked down on quant research? That's sucky and strange - we were pretty much told that quant was the only way to get anywhere at my last institution and the conferences I've attended have seconded that.

What's the consensus on UNC? Are decisions out or are they just trolls? There is a post on the results page saying that someone was a reject re: the website, but my status hasn't been updated. Thanks y'all!

Did you just get put on the waitlist for GWU or are were you invited to interview and counting it as a waitlist? Sorry for asking - I'm trying to figure out exactly what they're doing since I know they're waitlisting everyone that doesn't get in after the interview / open house next week.

What are people's thoughts about Rochester? It looks like acceptances came out Feb 1 last year, but closer to mid Feb in 2014. Any inside info?
