Rejected from Yale last night, but who cares - I just got into the joint History/Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies program at NYU! Best of luck to everyone as we wait to hear the final notifications roll in...

Waitlisted at Penn now, too; still have to hear from three more schools, but starting to get nervous and (unproductively) regretting not having prepared more for my interview...

FYI the admissions committee at UCLA has made its decisions -- yesterday I received an email from my POI letting me know I had been waitlisted. Apparently 180 people applied this year and they could only accept about 8% of them due to fiscal constraints.
