Oh okay! That sounds really fascinating, though I have done fairly little of Africa (one of the reasons I want to study in the USA, as Africa and Latin America aren't really taught too well where I am, as far as I have experienced). But from what I can tell NYU is sending out results across regional specialisations, so I think that's that for me. Anyhow, hope your Ph.D. goes off well!
Hey, congratulations! I was wondering if you got into NYU for a joint program or for history alone? and what your regional specialisation is? I'm trying to figure out if NYU has sent all its results :/
Hey! Well it definitely was a semi official mail, because it said that the history grad committee had reviewed my application and recommended me for admission to the graduate center, and that I will get the official acceptance with the financial package soon. But I'm an international student with pretty much no knowledge of the US system. So I can't really say beyond that. I hope things work out for you!
I got a mail from the director of graduate studies on Feb 2nd, telling me that I'll get the official acceptance soon, and that I've been recommended for admission, into the UMass Ph.D. program. But I'm don't know either if acceptances are sent together or not.
Hello! I've been following posts but just starting out on grad cafe! I've applied to history phd programs, including Purdue, and I was wondering if there's any way to find out if you're waitlisted?
