You know, I go down these roads with anxiety too. I'd bet you're fine. I'm sure that you're top-choice school is something pretty awesome, especially if you're sitting on a few other offers as well. And if it's pretty awesome, I bet that they didn't accept an application that's clearly for a coordinated program to their non-coordinated program - it probably would've raised some flags on their end. I hope it works out.

Hi, got a e-mail from a professor who wanted to chat about how my interests might fit for a certificate program within the larger PhD program that I had applied for. I called him up and we chatted and he seemed to think I was a good fit (it is right up my alley). He also asked if I was planning to attend the open house (hadn't thought of it yet, but looked into it further and it's for accepted students). I haven't received any formal acceptance yet. What exactly was that call?
