I also just got booted off the waitlist at Munk. Looks like they finally got around to letting a second group in. Did anybody here get in off of the waitlist?

Damn. But also a huge congratulations to anybody that made it!

How did you find out? My status says Decision Made, hasn't changed.

Nevertheless I accepted an offer from a Danish University

    Hello

Just got accepted in GSPIA. No money, nothing, but I am in, so I am happy.

For those of you who got wait listed. It sucks. I should know, it happened to me last year. Hang in there, try again and you will be successful.

As for the NPSIA/GSPIA debate. The school are not in competition in my mind , both in Ottawa so both close to gvt. One leans more towards French the other English. If you get in any or both congrats you are one of the lucky ones.

Hi, congratulations! Are you an international student?

Try not to think of it as a rejection, although I understand. I am waitlisted at Munk and everyone I talk to about it congratulates me like it's an accomplishment while I just feel rejected. I think it's pretty common to get waitlisted and then offered a position later in the summer.

Did you hear from NPSIA via email? I have still heard nothing and my status still says recommended for assessment.

I heard back via email, my status is same as yours on the application portal.

Thanks you guys, for the encouraging words.

Hi everyone, I applied to NPSIA, GSPIA and MPPA. I have not received a response yet. My profile on GSPIA is under evaluation. NPSIA AND MPPA is recommended for assessment. Do you guys have any idea when I would hear back from the universities?

Same boat. I had emailed API they said,  you will hear back from GSPIA anytime from first week to mid April, as for NPSIA my application is "recommended for assesment ", I think maybe another 2 weeks because there is another stage "Something by faculty..." until a decision is made.

It is true in Switzerland that they take very seriously workers rights. Pretty much all shops are shut on sunday and during the week almost everything is closed by 7 pm so that workers have time for their families.

So it certainly wouldn't surprise me if they did in fact have a 2 hour lunch break.

Yes and in case of France as well.
