Has anyone else on the MPA waitlist heard anything? Or are we all just still waiting?

Congratulations! I don't know if I feel better or worse about my chances knowing that other waitlisters have been offered spots...

Just saw my email notification from Chicago, which was sent at 1:26 Chicago-time. Either they auto-sent messages at a strange hour, or their admissions people were really working overtime to make their deadline.

I got an acceptance letter about a month ago, but am still waiting for information on funding. Has anyone received news on that front?

Yeah, I was jumpy enough checking my email as it was, without waiting for the ax to fall!

I'd also be interested in people's thoughts on the strengths/weaknesses of the program. The link above to the program's job placement info shows that 50% stay in Texas, which I have absolutely no desire to do. And now I'm anxiously awaiting the funding decision...

I got an email from UT's financial aid office this evening saying they couldn't process my application for aid because I hadn't been admitted yet, but it would be processed when/if I was admitted. Did anyone else get this? Trying not to read anything into it...
