Seconded--I lived in Fairfax for two years and can't recommend it. Housing is waaay overpriced for the quality of life, too.

I applied to both the New Writers Project and the Michener Center, but haven't heard anything from either of them. I haven't seen anything from the NWP show up on here or Draft, either, so I think we're safe (so far)! Good luck

Does anyone know if Virginia Tech has sent interview requests for poetry applicants yet? I've only seen interviews for fiction on Draft and the results page.
