when I look at the curriculum, 30 out of 48 credits are set in stone (core + capstone)...does that deter anyone? that leaves about 6 elective courses (assuming 3 credits per course)
I second this. I've contacted other programs and received responses within 24 hours both as an applicant and admitted student.
I also wonder if they needed to hold the event last Friday, 2 weeks after notifying R1 applicants. If this was a larger class, any extra time for planning helps.
I wished I was able to meet with more students. At the reception it was tough to speak to many, and most of the students I met were first year students, who were only able to speak about core classes, not about any electives.
I am looking at the Enrollment Checklist, and looked at the Conditions of Admissions (i.e. Econ prereq). Is that in a completely separate letter? Is that sent immediately or with the admissions offer?
based on what I see on the website, it seems that PhDs get most of the money allocated: http://grad.georgetown.edu/financial-support/merit-based-financial-aid/scholarships
didn't see a thread dedicated to McCourt for this year.
Received my admit letter today, but there isn't too much info...will there be programs prior to decision day (i.e. admit day on campus, webinar, etc)?
anyone excited? at this point I am deciding between Harris and McCourt
Is it really $70k per year? Seems like going on a slim student budget, you can get by at mid-upper $60k.
Are full rides rare at MPP programs? Seems like "max full ride" would be $45k from Harris
