Hey guys,
I would like some opinions on Cornell's 1-year CS Master of Engineering program vs UCSD M.S. in CS program (2 years). I have heard the UCSD has a good computer networks program (which is what I am interested in). On the other hand, I don't know much about the Cornell program except that its 1 year (a few course an d a project) and almost twice as expensive as UCSD.
I just got an offer from Cisco and now also have the option of working for a couple years first and then do my MS or the other way around. Any opinions?
Thanks.
I got into the above colleges for MS CS (UIUC is online program, Cornell is 1 year M.Eng.).
Cornell and UIUC are ranked 5 in US News, UCSD is 13, UCLA is 14.
I am weighing between Cornell or UCSD or UCLA. Anybody willing to share their views?
I have visited SD and LA and liked them both.
PS: does anyone know what aid is like for MS students?
Thanks
