  1. Fellow Denmark applicants, I emailed Rachael Hoskin today, who just emailed back this response: "We plan on issuing FSB notification letters next Tuesday [3/30], mailed from New York, to your present address." Just for information's sake for others wondering how long FSB approval seems to be taking in different cases, decisions were supposedly to have been made by the national commission in Denmark at the end of February (this from a phone call in early February to the coordinator for that commission in Copenhagen). So in this case, a month from country approval to letters being sent. Good luck, all!
  2. Hi all, Two questions: 1) where have you all learned the stipend amounts? From letters or a webpage? 2) I find it curious that the full grant would be less than the ETA stipend, since the full grants also often support grad students doing research etc., generally a bit further along in their academic careers - any thoughts on why this might be, or whether it seems to hold for other countries/years?
  3. We have been contacting our relevant program managers, as listed on this page (click link). (http://us.fulbrightonline.org/contact_us.html) Good luck to all!
  4. Aarhus University, to do research.
  5. Thanks very much for checking on it!! I really wanted to , but was trying to resist the temptation since I called her just a couple of weeks ago. When I talked with her then (March 4), she said 2-3 weeks. Aargh, though -- I was reeeeaally hoping to hear this week! What university did you apply to go to, if you are willing to say?
  6. Now that so many Europe people are getting responses, I will be irritating and repeat my question about Wednesday mailings -- any indication as to whether letters for European countries are getting sent out only on Wednesdays, as last year, or any weekdays? I'm a full grant applicant for Denmark.
  7. Last year's thread has quite a bit about letters (for at least some regions) only going out from Fulbright IIE on Wednesdays. I think we only have one acceptance reported here so far, but is there any indication of whether or not this is the case this year?
