I'm in the same situation... :/ Still waiting for CMU, UIUC, UCLA, UConn, and TAMU Would it be considered unplesant if I sent an e-mail to the Graduate Program's Director asking if I'm currently in a waiting list? Also if they have any estimate of when they will be making a decision.

Does anyone know if Carnegie Melon is still accepting? I'm still waiting on CMU, UCLA, UIUC, TAMU, and UConn. I guess my chances are pretty low at this point... :/ PS: I'm a domestic applicant
