  1. I just got a call from Windsor saying a spot on the waitlist has become available to me. I am not sure whether to take it or to decline it and work for a few year and go for UofT again. Would anybody be able to provide some insights on some concerns I have?

Does anyone know whether Windsor MSW graduates have good employment oppotunities? I'd like to pursue a career in Toronto, and I don't know how competitive is a MSW degree from Windsor.

What kind of research oppotunities are there? Does it necessarily lead to PhD oppotunities?

I'd really appreciate any input! I've already prepared for job hunting and this is all too overwhelming...

  2. Both my Rosi and Acron say nothing, so I'm probably either rejected or waitlisted.. it's really discouraging, but i guess trying to get more experience is the only thing I can do right now..

I'll soon be graduating with a BA in Psych and Classics. My last two year GPA is 85, and I have about 1200 hours of related experience. I really want to get jobs that will increase my knowledge of the field of social work, and potentially increase my chance of acceptance three years down the road. Can anyone here suggest me any good job field or place to start?

I live in London, but I'm more than willing to relocate. I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me some advice! Thank you. :)

  3. okay the mixed info really messed me up a little bit.. if UofT is supposed to send out their responses this week, when should we expect to receive the mail?

At this point, I'm pretty much ready for any type of news. I know that a rejection only means that all the people who are getting accepted are a lot more qualified than me, and that i should work even harder towards my goals. But not knowing is really killing me...

Yes Rosi is part of UOFT, most if not all advanced standing applicants that got accepted in the month of february had their ROSI changed to "invited" or something to that extent. If you do a google search of "Rosi Toronto" the first link should lead you to it. Click Log in to Rosi and follow the instructions on how to make an account and log in.

Note; At this exact moment, Rosi won't work as they are updating the system. try it out tommorow!

I had no idea that people who didn't attend UofT for their undergrad could register for an account. Thank you so much for the information, I really appreciate it. :)

  5. Congratulations to everybody who's gotten accepted!!

This is my first year applying, and I applied to the two-year program at York, Windsor, Western and UofT. I am currently completing my undergrad at western and am so anxious about not hearing anything back.

I have a mid 80's average but only a little over 1000 hours of experience, as i'm not legally allowed to take any jobs in Canada, and could only take on summer internships in my home country and some volunteer work during the school year.

York declined my application one week after it's submitted and said they don't accept any international students, and I'm a little concerned that my foreign identity will be a problem to other schools as well. Does anyone know any international students who were accepted in the past?

I know that schools are beginning to send out their decisions regarding the two-year track programs, and I sincerely wish everybody the best of luck!
