I think an interesting thing to add to your application would be volunteering in a unique environment. My stats were pretty good, but I really emphasized in my essays and interviews that i am not just someone that has technical knowledge. i spent a gap year volunteering with a SLP in Hebrew speaking school and studying in a fellowship of Judaic studies/ethics.

Do you think if I haven't heard from NYMC yet then it's probably a no? I know they have been doing interviews and others have been accepted
