Hello, I got informal consideration/acceptance from POI of UT Austin. He has not interviewed me yet. What does this mean? Applied for Phd in ME..

To all those posts who have mentioned informal acceptance by POI. Were you guys interviewed by your POI. My POI informed me through email about his consideration but didn't interviewed me yet. What does this mean?
