I have not heard back from Temple yet. I am waiting on Temple, American, GSU, and UMass Lowell.

Nothing to me about my application but the graduate director said decisions should be finalized by mid-Feb.

I looked into UMASS Lowell but I am trying to coordinate schools with my SO, so it makes it difficult to find places that both align with what we want. American is a great school! And it's in DC which makes it even better

I only applied to four schools Northeastern: rejected from the Ph.D. accepted into the masters with a scholarship; Penn State: still waiting; University of Iowa: accepted with a $20,000 stipend and full funding for five years (Sociology concentrated on crim).
Congrats on the acceptance! Yay! At least you got one with funding! I applied to Temple, UMASS Lowell, IUP, GMU, GSU, American, and UPENN. I got into IUP with funding to be announced in March. Got rejected at GMU.

I mean I might have a shot. But truly, I don't know because you don't know what they are looking for and which applications they are tossing. Right now, my gut is telling me that I will be rejected. What about you? Where did you apply?

It is very aggravating, frankly annoying, and inconsiderate on their behalf.

Temple: I emailed this week and they said that by mid-Feb you will hear decisions. I have not heard from Upenn.

Don't tell them anything. Do the Skype interview and have it set up. They are aware that you could have scheduling conflicts. If they ask during the Skype interview you can tell them then. It is also a good way to see how they react when they hear it the first time if they ask via video.

I called Temple because I saw that some people were accepted already and that is what they told me.

For Temple: Decisions should be posted no later than the first week of February.

I just made some calls. UPenn said they are trying to have decisions in by the end of January. GA State, UMass Lowell, and American should have decisions by the middle of February.

I have not gotten my decision from Temple. I got rejected to George Mason and accepted to IUP.

Definitely nervous and anxious. It is hard not to think about when we will get the decisions.

I don't even understand what is going on with Temple. I sent in my complete application on October 9. I can't even tell you if I am rejected or waitlisted or what. You said that we should hear back by Feb 22 or did you mean Dec or Jan 22.
