I want to thank everyone for the support! Unfortunately, I did not get the Fulbright ETA. I was disappointed to say the least but in my experience these things usually happen for a reason. For those who are waiting I will keep my fingers crossed for you! Good luck everyone on wherever you land.
I did not apply for Senegal, but did study there for nine months! I lived with a host family, took classes, and taught at a bilingual school. If you have any questions about Senegal or want to chat about it while you are there I would love to do so. Senegal holds a very special place in my heart! I miss it everyday.
In this waiting game I am either like "I am one with the force, the force is with me" or "what do you mean I only refreshed 1 minute ago? It feels like it's been at least 15 minutes"... There is literally no in between.
I'm really sorry everyone! I don't think my earlier post helped anyone with the waiting game. But to answer your question I think she just meant in general... She didn't give me much information because I don't think she was given much herself. Since I applied for the France ETA maybe she just meant the European region, but this is all just speculation. I will bug her with some more questions when I go into the office today!
I work in the study abroad office at my university. I walked in today and my Fulbright advisor said they sent an update to all the advisors telling them it would be soon and to be patient. If only I had the patience to wait....
