Me too, gemstone... This Tuesday will be two weeks from when the last award (that I know of) was offered, so maybe it will all be over soon. It HAS to be over soon.

Seems from posts on the results page that another round of offers to waitlisters went out this morning...How much longer must we wait? This is just getting cruel!

Congrats to those who made it off the waitlist.. Are there any alternates who were accepted off the waitlist who plan to decline NDSEG in favor of other funding? I'm still an alternate...and just trying to gauge my chances.

For anyone interested, I e-mailed to confirm. Response from NDSEG: "Starting with the 2017 application, the tenure has been increased from 3 years to 4 years."
I'm currently an alternate...so for those with other sources of funding, help a girl out! This is my last go-around, so I'll hold onto hope 'til the end!

How does it make any sense that they are increasing the stipend AND the years? If they are giving 150 kids 38400 a year (3200 a month) for 4 years, they could have given 34000 a year for 3 years to 225 kids...
