Toronto is a great city. St George campus is right at downtown. I went to that campus last year for my Master's. You will get EVERYTHING here!! The only problem is - Toronto is a very expensive city. Other than that - you will get a fantastic public transport system, a wide variety of ethnic foods, a great collect of resources at the UofT library, a very diverse population, and series of events happening both on and off campus.

I will be heading there for my PhD in Women's and Gender Studies.

A prof called me.

I heard back from rutgers. they have selected 6 candidates out of 80 applicants and actually are looking for only 4!!! waitlisted in ohio state and IU. rejected from emory, ucsb, arizona state. waiting to hear from university of washington, penn state (geography and women's studies), and univ of maryland.

I received my admission offer via email on March 15, then post mail on March 24...but the funny thing is that my online application is still showing the status 'documents pending'!!! I got admission offer from the Women and Gender Studies Institute of UofT.
