  1. Oh, Columbia will not offer me any funding this fall.
  2. Hi, You know, CU ranks 16th in the US NEWS on CS. But WPI's CS does not even have a specific ranking number. I want to find a good job in US when graduate, so would you please show some suggestions? If go to WPI, then I will not spend any money. However, if go to Columbia, I have to pay a lot of money and it becomes an investment for its unknown rewards. But, NYC has more job opportunities. Oh,, soooo tough choice.
  3. Which one should I choose regarding the job placement. I am in a short list of fuding of WPI CS MS. UTD told me that TA results will come out in middle to late April, too late. Others are without funding. Columbia U is the ranks highest, but also the most expensive one. Whether it worths the investment?
  4. Thx for your reply. Actually they do not provide much info about where their MS alumni go on the website. So, I just seeking help from who knows the condition about it. The reason why I applied there is that I refer to it as an investment. So, I need to know how well the rewards the investment will bring. If anyone knows it, feel free to share your opinions. :-)
  5. I just want to know the prospect of going there. Anyone knows?
  6. Hi, I got admission to the CS MS for fall 2010. I chose Vision and CG, Foundations of CS as my tracks. (Who knows which one I will enroll ) But I think I will choose the thesis track. Here, I've got a problem-Does it worth to go to Columbia to get MS CS? (My family will suffer a lot in financial condition if they support me to go there) You know, it is too expensive and MS students hardly get financial assistantships. Who knows the information about the MS CS students graduated from Columbia? What the job placement of them? How many of them can find a good job in the U.S.?
