I would call both schools and ask about the clinical placements and whats guaranteed or not. From what I have heard its difficult to get a hospital placement anywhere in the bay area

I have declined University of Arizona and UT Dallas, and I will soon be declining SDSU and CU Boulder. Good luck to everyone!

Hi @SLPihope2B, I was accepted as well. Thinking about attending, but I couldn't make it to the open house. Did you go/tour the facility or anything along those lines?
Hi! Yes I did. I’ve actually visited a couple of times.
feel free to message me any specific questions!
-
Hi guys! I found out that I was accepted yesterday, and I would love to connect with other people who might be attending!
-
I’m curious about funding as well as I was also invited to the too admit open house. I am hoping to find out before the decision date because I will not be attending without any funding.
Side note: Has anyone made an admitted students Facebook page yet??
-
I would not say that it is strange at all. It shows that you actually care and went out of your way to thank them.
I have sent hand written thank you notes to everyone that has interviews me or even just met with me to answer questions and i had to REALLY search for their mailing addresses, but I know it came off really well and they were very appreciated.Make yourself stand out in a good way!

Has anyone heard back from Chapman University or CSUN yet or know when we can expect to hear back from them?
Thanks and Goodluck everyone!
I interview with Chapman and they said decisions will be made Mid-March

Does anyone know if CSULB does Skype interviews / how that affects your chances of admission since it’s not the group interview? I got an interview for this Saturday, but I won’t be able to make it because I live out of state. I emailed them when I found out last night, but I haven’t heard back yet.

I applied to SFSU, CSULB, CSUEB, SDSU, CSUF, and Chapman!
I am interviewing for Chapman today and anxiously awaiting to hear from CSULB and SFSU regarding interviews!!!
-
I applied in early December and got an email from dr Stillman stating that I was accepted late December about 2 weeks after I applied! I know they do rolling admissions though
-
Has anyone heard back regarding SFSU interviews yet?
-
Did anyone get an email confirmation of their registration? I didnt and that makes me a little nervous
-
I'm going! I figure it my only chance to learn about the program, and if by some miracle I get in, I will want to know all about the program before making my decision because I've already got into one of my other top 3 schools!

I have had my statement edited multiple times. However, the final person I had edit my essay changed a TON of thing. She got rid of any passive voice I had in my essay and replaced it all with active voice. I agree that in some parts of my voice active voice sounds better, but in some places the passive voice makes more sense.
I had not heard any rules/preferences of grad schools liking essays to be in active rather than passive voice.
Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks!!
