Hey everyone, I received notification today (via email) that I was accepted as an ETA to Vietnam!! The email contained information on the orientation and the stipend, which is $1,100 a month, much more than I was expecting!! Is there anyone else who is going to Vietnam? It seems like I'm the only person who applied who has been following this... Anyways, I'm totally excited, obviously. Congrats to everyone else who has received word, and good luck to everyone who is still waiting. Nikki

That would be just lovely. I'm not concerned about paying for the lodgings, just the dates. I also found out from the IIE advisor that applicants for Vietnam won't be informed until mid-april. A small sigh of temporary relief, but the waiting is killing me!

Not that you would necessarily know, zymurgist, but is no post for East Asia... does that mean that they have not determined when our orientation will be, or that we don't have one? I've already starting planning my festival/camping trip for the summer, and I'd really like to know before I spend $200 on a ticket. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
