I am more likely to go to VIU. It was not really my top choice at first, but I was not able to secure the funding I was hoping for in all the universities I was accepted. Considering that I will pay, I felt VIU is the right choice for me. I hope I chose well. Good luck to everyone!

I did not have a specific country in mind, but I really wanted to do my masters abroad so I applied to the schools I liked. Age/Gender/Citizenship 24 / M / Philippines Undergraduate degree/School/Year graduated BS Architecture / UPD / 2019 GPA - GRE - TOEFL (for Int'l students) 1.38/1.00 (reverse scale, ~3.4/4.0) - No GRE - IELTS 8.0 Work Experience: 2.5 years for a real estate developer Letter of recommendations: (from whom) Several professors (thesis adviser, former dean), work supervisor Schools applied to: Auckland (NZ)/ Melbourne (AU) / UCD (IE) / Polimi (IT) / VIU (CA) / SUTD (SG)/ Sheffield, Manchester, Cardiff (UK) In: Auckland, Melbourne, UCD, Polimi Out: Sheffield Wait-list: Awaiting: VIU, SUTD, Manchester, Cardiff Results: Melbourne gave me aud10k scholarship, UCD gave me eur4k, but even with those I find the costs still too high. Currently my top choice is Polimi. I am still waiting for the other unis if they will give me a better offer. Good luck to everyone!
