Hello all . I'm new to this forum. I am thinking of applying to graduate schools for quantum information(theory) and/or quantum foundations. I'd like some feedback on my chances and some suggestions for potential school. My profile is as follows:
Undergraduate : International student, undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with 73%(highest marks is 82%) from the top school in the country.
Research experience: Collaborated with an international researcher through email (as there were no opportunities at my home institution) and have published a first author paper on quantum foundations in an international peer reviewed journal.
GRE score: 331 (Verbal:165, Quant: 166). no Physics GRE
I want to apply to graduate school in CS or physics in US or Canada. How difficult would it be to get into schools like U Toronto, Stony Brook(Physics), SUNY albany, UCSB (CS). Also please suggest me some PhD programs in CS or physics that I have good chance of getting in. Thanks in advance.
