I've been lucky enough to have received a few offers and was wondering how many visit weekends people plan on attending? How many is too many?

Just wondering what level of detail the research statement for Berkeley should be (and length). None of my work is published, so I'm worried about making it too detailed; then again, if other candidates have a lot of detail, I don't want brevity to disadvantage me. I'm applying for organic chemistry.
