I know there is already topic like this one, yet it’s too old and it lacks information, IMHO. Here is the old but new question: how common interviews are in the Biosciences? I’ve applied to bunch of PhD programs in Neuro, got 3 rejections already (the most painful one is from the Ivy where I’ve been working as an RA in lab for the past year). I’ve read that MIT, Brown, UPenn, Berkeley, Princeton, & Harvard have sent interview invitations already. I got none. Does it means that I stand no chance or, in contrast, some people were accepted in past to Ivy neuro even without an interview? Also someone mention in results that some schools take only ONE international a year, is it true?
P.S. Please forgive me this common shit but I am desperate AF
