I think Maryland typically makes admissions pretty late, like sometime in early March. You can check the results page from last year to see when people received offers last year.

I would be more inclined to use this list: https://www.university-list.net/us/rank/univ-1169.htm. This was the list from the US News and World Report (they took it down for some reason. It uses questionable methodology, but the list from that global assessment is based on one criteria (and not a very transparent one, nor an accurate one).

FSU is the number 1 program in the world? With all due respect, Jinxstar, I do not think that is correct, and I do not know where you got that from. They have a good program, sure, but programs like Maryland, Albany, Cambridge, Melbourne, and the University of Toronto are much more esteemed programs than FSU.
