  1. Per Expatica -- you can get a "look for a job visa" for six months after graduation. However, there is no guarantee of being able to bring your spouse at the graduate level of study. It will be up to the director of the Canton to which you are applying.
  2. Just received my admission letter and a denial for financial aid. I didn't expect to be admitted so I hadn't researched the Visa requirements as closely as I did my preferred school, Sciences Po (France). It is looking like I won't be able to bring my family to Geneva. Unlike most of you, I have a husband and an 18-year-old daughter who will be graduating high school in May and will be living with me for a year before she starts college in 2019. I'm also trying to find out if Switzerland allows you to stay for a year after graduation to look for a job. France does but Italy (Johns Hopkins, SAIS) does not.
