  1. Thank you. I sent email to graduate school and stat department. But on one replys. Do they mention there's slot or not?
  2. Thanks. So I may have to accept Brown's offer today.
  3. Hi, are you the one who submitted result? Do you know anyone else who is admitted? Thank you
  4. I thought JHU is much better. Do you apply for mathematical statistical program in UMD?
  5. If you or your friend is admitted to this program, please let them know whether you or your friend will go or not. This is my dream school!!! I'm waiting anxiously on the waiting list.
  6. Thanks very much. Do you have some idea on biostatistics program in Brown(a very new program, no PhD has graduated from their program yet)?
  7. I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean by "B/I/G". Does B stand for Business? Then what I and G stand for?
  8. Yes, I know this ranking. Because I didn't apply those programs listed there, I cannot compare my programs using this ranking. I do think NRC should do a new ranking for statistics.
  9. I should say that I don't believe NRC ranking. University of Maryland has a good team in mathematical statistics, however, it ranked 60+. What I use is the ranking provided by PhD.org. What do you think of those rankings?
  10. One of my friend who studies in Hongkong get admitted to Yale master in STAT.
  11. So bad... I really need to contact with them to know whether they'll go or not....
  12. The problem is that the ranking for NCSU is not that good... So, I'm worrying about the job replacement.
  13. I understand this. But, my choices is quite limited. I got an offer from north carolina state university. BTW, do you know how I can know who got offer from them. Some of them post their offer, but I don't know how to know their id.
  14. I understand their researches are quite different, but both are good for me. Anyone know more about these two programs, like placement and any other information. I've compared them in PhDs.org. The difference is quite limited. SO, anyone know something about these two programs? Thank you very very much.
  15. Those who admitted to Department of Statistics for a PhD degree, will you go there or not? I'm waiting on the waiting list. They told me to wait until April 17th, which means I have to abandon other offers. Could you please let me know whether you'll go or not? Thank you very very much.
