Aren't the both schools ask almost same amount of grad tuition to expected students? I mean we need to pay $40k for RISD or SAIC grad programs per year.

Does anyone have any idea of RISD's Digital + Media and MICA's Photographic and Electronic Media? Both of them offer me some amount of funding (RISD < MICA) and hope to have a chance to hear about them. Feel free to share your thought.

Those who applied to SAIC MFA in FVNMA program, I just talked to the school's admission director and was told that the decision letters were sent out TODAY. Hope some of you get great news.

I also have an interview on Friday for RISD D+M. It's good to hear back, but I think I can't go there without a decent financial package. Its tuition is far more expensive than I can afford. :-(

Has anyone heard back from SAIC FVNMA(Film, Video, New Media and Animation)? I called them last week and was told that the decision has been made on Friday(Mar 18th). But still haven't heard back yet though I'm living in Chicago. :-(

Just got a phone call and accepted MICA MFA in Photographic and Electronic Media program. Great news, just like beautiful blue sky in Chicago. :-) Here is my result so far. MASS ART - Accepted MICA - Accepted Still waiting from... SVA, SAIC, RISD.

I also waiting a news from SAIC's FVNMA program. Hope we both have good news from the school. :-) Good luck!!!
