How is grad school treating you so far?

For me, it's a lot easier to get organized by taking all of my notes on my iPad Pro. Plus, it's easier to sync across devices via iCloud. So, there's less likelihood of me losing my notes and documents compared to having physical copies of my notes, plus it's backed up in the cloud.

Biggest congratulations! So happy to hear the wonderful news! ??

I have just done the same thing a few minutes back. It is such a weird feeling, isn't it? I was just talking to my spouse about it, I I feel like I'm double thinking my decisions even though the program that I accepted (SDSU/UCSD) was the only one that I wanted to go to. As you said, on to the next step, housing!

Aside from community colleges, also check extension centers for universities and “open universities.” They might offer courses online.

Because expensive. To be fair, they are an excellent program based on my what I’ve learned about the program.

I just accepted the offer from SDSU/UCSD. I will be declining admission from University of Arizona and U of the Pacific, and withdraw from Arizona State.

Here's their explanation: https://sphsc.washington.edu/doctor-audiology-aud-1 Quite a big surprise when I read both the email and the website!

I’m beyond excited! I was accepted to SDSU/UCSD with GA opportunity! This is most likely where I will attend.

Hey! I had my interview on 2/22
-
I received an acceptance call on Tuesday and an acceptance email on Wednesday. Based on last year’s threads and posts about results, it seems that they also accept students without an interview, and those posts were made in the latter part of March.

I just received the email for video submission an hour or so ago.

OMG, a fellow French student! Indeed, it's super nice to meet you! Bonne chance a toi aussi

Thank you so much for this! When inquiring programs about funding, what is the appropriate way of going about it, and what types of questions shoul I ask to actually learn more about how students are funded?

I turned in my application on Monday (Feb 5?). Stats: BA in linguistics and French, 3.6 cumulative Post-BA in communications disorders, 3.5 cumulative GRE 315 total Over 150 hours of volunteering at a clinic. Honors research, leadership experience and various departmental and college-wide awards in undergrad.

For both! I know right?! It's always fun to talk about both schools at the same time to family and friends, oh the confusion haha Did you stay local for your undergrad?
-
University of Pacific invited me to the interview/tour on the 17th, but I requested to do an interview via Skype since I work weekends. I would have loved to visit! I'm just so ecstatic to find someone from our little area who is also getting into Audiology.

So far, I have an interview with A.T. Still, Pacific University and University of the Pacific. I have yet to hear back from the rest. Have you heard back from the other programs? P.S. OMG, you're from Loma Linda? I'm from Redlands

Good Evening Everyone! I'm so happy to hear that people are already getting responses from universities I applied to pretty much all of the West Coast schools: SDSU/UCSD, Arizona State, University of Arizona, A.T. Still, University of the Pacific, Pacific University and University of Washington. I'm excited to see where this journey takes us!
