Some of the programs I applied to have the option to press a "decline offer" button on their website. I was wondering if it's normal to just do this and not send an email. Or is it better to send a polite email that declines the offer as well? I just don't want to come off rude when I decline offers. Thanks for your opinions!

Hello! I noticed you were also accepted to Baylor. Do you know how much their tuition is? Sorry, I was having a hard time finding the exact amount.
Yes! It’s about 67k, so it’s really expensive. But I also visited their program a few days ago and I LOVE it

If anyone was accepted to UTD and is planning on not attending, please let them know

Have y’all accepted your offer yet or are you still in the process of deciding?
I'm still in the process of deciding. UNT's program seems good but I'm not sure how I feel about Denton and I'm still waiting to hear back from my top choice! How about you?

I asked on Friday, and I received an email back today saying that they are still accepting people. She said that all letters will be sent out by registration, and she personally thinks that they will all be sent out by mid-April.
do you know when registration is?

I was accepted as well!

I think jeans (dark wash or black) and a nice top is perfectly fine and I've worn that with boots or flats to open houses in the past. Unless it specifies a dress code, you should be good!
they said theres no dress code but that "business casual" is the norm... do you think dark jeans with a nice top and flats would be business casual? thank you!
-
I am wondering if jeans and a nice top is good enough for an open house for admitted students. Or would business casual be a safer bet? I really have no idea what to wear! Thanks for the input.

Hi! To those who commented on this having been to open houses.. can you say what you wore? I'd appreciate it!

@speechpathbound hi, thanks! I applied for the fall program and was notified via email on I believe March 1st... definitely around then. Good luck, hope you hear back soon!

Has anyone interviewed for Tech and not heard back? Wondering if I should have heard something back since I interviewed on 2/19.

@edardi1 would you be willing to send me the template as well? I would os greatly appreciate it!

I was accepted into Baylor and am looking for insight as to how people who are going there or have gone there like the program, and living in Waco. Any thoughts appreciated!

Sure! My GPA when I submitted my application was 3.93 and my GRE was pretty low at a 295. However, I have had many clinical experiences and strong letters of rec. Dr. Stillman actually told me informally that I will be accepted, but the official acceptance will hopefully come tomorrow. So I am guessing that they have the majority of people separated into being accepting/declined and they are just slowly sending out the official decisions. I am an out of state!
May I ask what you emailed him when you asked about your application status? I am considering doing something similar to get an idea of when I'll hear back but don't want to come off wrong

I got what appeared to be an automated email this morning from admissions-status@utdallas.edu reminding me to send in an official transcript for my application to be processed. Anybody else get this? I think the unofficial versions I submitted with my app are good enough for the current stage, but I'm just wondering if this is an auto blast or if it might signify that my application is currently being looked at, etc....
I would call them to make sure. I got this email awhile ago and my unofficial transcripts weren't processing correctly.

I am wanting to email a thank you to my interviewers at a school following the interview I had yesterday, as I know this is good, but I am wondering if it will come off as strange if I essentially had to search for their e-mails? The people who interviewed me stated their names in the interview but I had to remember their names and search for their emails on the school's website in order to email them. Should I hold off or would it still be good to send it? I appreciate any opinions! Thanks.

UTD is also my first choice and I am so anxious to hear back! @Brittanymarie did the people with lower scores receive acceptances or rejections that you know of?

I am currently in my last semester of USU's second bachelor's program and I love it! It's honestly a great program and the professors are very knowledgeable and helpful even though it's online. Also, I found their course list covers the different requirements for leveling for a good majority of programs.

I heard back from Tech for an interview on Jan 29th and applied late December. I went in last week for it, they have an awesome program! Good luck!
-
I just checked my portal and saw the same thing! I'm pretty sure it means that they are delaying making a decision on us as they want to wait and see the larger pool of applicants and who accepts their offers of admission. That's just my guess. Let me know if you find out anything else!

I have an interview for the Speech Pathology program at Texas Tech on Friday and I have purchased a coral colored blazer to wear with a nice blouse, black slacks, and black heels. I am now doubting if my blazer is a good choice? I think it looks great but will the color come off unprofessional? I appreciate any opinions!

I did my second bachelors online through Utah State and got accepted to my top choice as well as others, so for me it wasn't a problem!
