Well I know people who are a COP&D method and they work closely with communities and individuals but then some people do just work in an administrative setting and don't interact with clients, only their fellow coworkers. So it's really a tossup on where they put you for your first year. Your second year you have more input. And while yes, the MSW is an MSW, the way you'll learn the material and approach it definitely does matter depending on your method. In terms of finding a job, it depends on what you want to do. If you would like to work in an agency and do more one-on-one clinical work but are a COP&D method, I don't know how prepared you'll feel. But if you want to work with communities and more on the macro side, then COP&D is the way to go. I hope this helps.
