Are you in the program?
Are you looking at UO? I went to the open house on Friday and was very impressed by the staff, students, and clinic. Everyone is very nice and supportive, the program provides some really unique qualities, but it is very expensive for out of state students.

Has anyone gone to an open house? Is it weird to bring a parent with? I’d like to bring one of my parents to get their opinion before i make a final decision.

Hey everyone! I've been reading along, but this is my first time posting. I was wait-listed at Wyoming on March 9th. I saw some of you had applied, but didn't see results posted. Anybody else on the wait-list or get accepted?? Also, it's relieving to know that Montana hasn't sent anything out yet. The waiting is killing me!! Good luck to everyone still waiting, and congrats to everyone who got accepted!!
I was accepted to Wyoming in early March but will be declining my position so hopefully that means you’re closer to an acceptance! Good luck!!

Time is progressing..... anyone heard from my last schools I await answers from? Valdosta? Georgia State? Armstrong State? University of Georgia? University of Montana? University of Louisiana Lafayette? Tennessee State University? ANYONE ANYONE????
I heard through the grapevine that University of Montana recently said that they will be sending out emails the end of march-early April. They are currently trying to hire a faculty vacancy which is probably why they’re taking so long. That doesn’t give us much time to make a decision!

I checked my status and it still just says “received” under the application. Maybe they haven’t contacted everyone yet?! Hopefully ?
Check your portal again, they’re unfortunately starting to send out rejections.

nothing from CU Boulder yet! I'm really hoping we hear from them today before the weekend. But if not, it'll probably be sometime next week
I’m hopeful for today! The last few years they had sent out emails by now.
-
Has anyone heard anything at all from CU Boulder or Northern Colorado?? I was really hoping to hear from them this week.

I'm hoping we'll hear this week based on past years!
I haven’t heard anything despite refreshing my email 100 times a day haha. I’m really anxious for them!

Hi! I just wanted to provide some insight - I received my acceptance to NAU in mid-February for the full-time regular track. I was offered a graduate assistantship via phone call last week. They asked me politely to try to expedite my decision-making so that they will know if they can offer the assistantship and/or spot to someone else. This indicates to me that they're still working on their waitlist! Don't lose hope.
I also got a call from them earlier this week. They offered me a position in the part time SLPA track even though I didn’t apply to that track (I applied to full time) so I think they’re still just trying to figure out what to do with all their applicants!

To those of you who have been accepted to ISU, do you know if you will be accepting that offer?
This is the first school I have heard back from and I am on the waitlist. So I would just really like to know my chances of making it off that list....
I was accepted yesterday, but since it’s so early it’s hard to say whether or not I will be accepting the offer. It is not my top choice but I have only heard from 2 out of 10 schools so far so I’ll have to see where I stand with other schools before making a decision. I’m probably about 40% likely to accept this offer. Sorry if that doesn’t help too much. Keep the faith! Plenty of people get accepted off the waitlist every year, Good Luck!!

Right?? The anxiety has been killing me! And the refreshing is killing my computer battery! haha
Haha same! I just saw that someone was accepted to the meridian campus and the distance program so they’re obviously in the process of sending out emails!

Call them immediately!! If they’re still in the review process they may be able to change your application.

We applied to a lot of the same schools! I'm hoping we start hearing back within the next couple weeks or so! At least Idaho we may know something by Friday! Good luck to you!!
That’s awesome, you’ll have to let me know when you start hearing back! I’m really hoping Idaho has decisions out Friday instead of early next week. I’m getting so anxious and stressed out. What is your top choice? I’m really hoping for CU Boulder but would happily accept a position at any of my programs. BEST OF LUCK!!

Hello!
Good luck to you! I also applied to Northern Arizona. Have you visited the campus yet? If so, what were your thoughts?
Congratulations on getting accepted to NAU! I have not heard anything from them so I assume that means i’m waitlisted at best. I have not visited the campus, is it a top choice for you?

I’m a little late to get on here, but this is my first year applying and the wait is killing me!
Which programs are you applying to?
University of Oregon, Portland State, Eastern Washington, Idaho State, University of Montana, University of Wyoming, Northern Arizona, Midwestern (Glendale), University of Colorado - Boulder, and University of Northern Colorado. !10 schools
Where are you from?
Montana, but lived in Colorado for the last year and a half
What are your biggest concerns about applications?
Probably my biggest concern is letters of recommendation. Most schools require two letters be from CSD professors and I took those classes online post-bacc so i think those letters will be pretty generic. My cumulative GPA is about a 3.78 but my CSD GPA is 4.0 and GRE V154 Q153 W4.0 so not stellar but not terrible either.
I interviewed at Midwestern last week and Eastern Washington this weekend! Just praying for good news soon. It’s been great reading everyone’s experiences.
