Hey yall! Ive haven't been on here in like two weeks, SORRY! Just wanted yall to know I have heard back from both Columbia and Michigan and well I GOT IN!! I'm very excited and shocked. I just want to thank you all for making this wait awesome and I'm so glad I found yall and this forum! yall have been a saving grace during this process!

Sorry ive been gone yall! started my new job and have been stupid busy! Hope today is the day!!

another long weekend of waiting...... I swear I need to know by the end of next week or ill go insane and just run around down town Austin naked and drunk.

yeah its so crazy that the wait is this bad, I feel like my life is on hold because I have no idea what im doing or where ill be in a couple of months from now! I'm a planner, I need to plan!! lol I'm going a little crazy

Definitely not earlier than you! I was a lazy bones and turned my application on 2/14 lol. And it would be awesome if we got the decision together! I'll have our fingers crossed that we get it today or tomorrow. I somehow have a feeling it will be Monday however, not sure why I feel this way.

Yes I did!! But only one other school lol. My plan was always to spread out my applications, so for next spring and summer I'm applying to 5 grad schools and this round I only applied to Columbia and University of Michigan. But like I said earlier I was given a great opportunity this week and was given a new job as a mental health forensic specialist so if I don't get in this round at least I'll have a job I love. But also I would love to go to Columbia so we shall see. I'm kinda glad I have you to wait with me lol, we shall be kindred spirits together in this forever waiting game

Yeah this wait is way too long. I'm even thinking about calling tomorrow; My main problem is that I live in Texas so I really need to start planning if I'm going to uproot my life to New York. My apartment complex wants to know now if 'm going to resign my lease. I'm kinda stressing that if I don't get in and also lose my apartment because I waited too long. :/

Nothing on my end, Dangggggg I just want to know! on the plus side I just got a new job that I'm very excited about! Now if I don't get in Ill have something to look forward to!

And still nothing, I guess ill just check tomorrow, and the day after, and then the day after that.........

Well I applied advance standing and have no where near y'alls stats so I'm guessing Im a rejections lol, so now if they could just tell me that would be Greatttttttttt

what if is this is just like a giant social experiment on delayed gratification lol because dang they are making us work for it.

LOL if we all get in, we have to all meet up in person. I feel like ive gone through a war with yall and we bonded over a traumatic experience. We will be the closest MSW class ever

I've seen a lot of 2 year individuals being accepted has any advance standing peeps heard? Also I have a theory about rejections, I think they are going to sit on them until they accepted all they can and then send them out, that's what my undergrad did ( UT )

Hey Yall! Im new to this forum but I wanted to add my own notes, I just got off the phone with the admissions office and they told me that in two weeks I should know if im accepted or not. I applied the Feb. 15th deadline. so honestly I think they are just telling everyone 2 weeks even if you were priority or not
