Hi, Congrats on the full ride! I applied to Fordham's IPED program and I'm anxious to hear back. It's the first program I applied to and the last one to respond, which is getting frustrating. Mind me asking which fellowship/scholarship you received? Did you receive an email letter or snail mail?
I've heard pros/cons about the program, depending on what you want, I suppose. The cohort is small (about 25 students) and so it becomes a tight-knit community. Fordham has a strong relationship with Catholic Relief Services, so definitely a pro if that's an organization you're interested in working for after graduate school. I've heard that it is very Econ heavy. I spoke to a recent alum who says that Fordham really takes care of their students. And they have opportunities to apply for scholarships for language training in between semesters. In terms of reputation, however, Fordham as a school is not as widely known or as recognized compared to SAIS, MALD, SIPA.
What are your main aspects on deciding on which grad school to go to? TBH, I'm having difficulty weighing my options and I'm not sure if others are in the same boat. Difficult to discern, though, when I'm still waiting to hear back from Fordham.
