    UA=University of Alabama FSU= Florida State University 1. The stipend amount is far better for UA. 2. The semester fee (though I have received full tuition waiver) is higher at FSU. 3. The living cost & the weather is almost same in AL & FL. 4. can't comment on research: that's the suggestion i am looking for....

    Got funded offer from both universities. The Stipend amount is better for Alabama while Florida is a better-ranked school. Any insight will be of tremendous help. Thanks in advance.
