I am also on waiting list in my top choice of school. I was wondering when the school will let us know of their wait list decisions. This is really frustrating.

When did you hear from boston university? I am anxiously waiting to hear from them for the past few weeks. I had attended their open house. By the way did you get an invite for their open house - if so did you attend. Just curious to know my position. Also are you an international student or in US? Thanks

Did you see deas rejections in them? I dont.... I know it is too late to be hopeful.

If you look carefully, under harvard university, somebody did report acceptance by deas for ee phd on 02/18/2007. Scary isnt it? I am also waiting and have not heard from them.

Do you stay in us or abroad? I stay here in boston and still have not received the letter.

Just noticed that somebody got ee admit from harvard university in the result section on 02/18. Does this means hopes for this university are over? Has anybody heard from them yet?

I really need your help on this guys : do any of you know what kind of delivery service universities/MIT use to deliver the admit/reject mails. Is it USPS or courier service?The reason for this question is that I just moved from Detroit to Boston and people at my old apt in Detroit told me that they received an USPS envelope in my name today and they sent it back because I do not live there any more.

I dont think I want to call and spoil the weekend. I will wait for the rejection letter to come by mail.

I just saw that somebody posted they got accepted in MIT for EE PhD by post today. Is it one of us? Congrats.

I just called eecs. They said most decisions are made and they will be mailed out next week. They can tell us the decisions next week thru phone once the decisions are in the mail. As madmax pointed out this is probably bad new- since we did not receive admit email they probably rejected us.

Well I have given up almost all hopes... BTW, I was wondering if anybody heard from Harvard DEAS for EE.

Long time lurker - first time poster here. I am also awaiting to hear from MIT. What would you guys say my chances are. I have masters from wayne state university, detroit, MI in EE. Good GPA of 3.9 one first author paper in applied physics letters two international conference oral presentations and one international conference poster presentation GRE V-700 Q-780 AWA - 4.5 3 good recommendations I am applying to Universities in boston only because my family is here. Applying to MIT, Harvard, Boston University, Northeastern and tufts Thank you.
