any news from computer science?

this is really bad!

Seems like there isn't anyone who heard anything on this site. It's almost mid-march now and the auto response says decisions will be mailed to applicants by GSAS beginning in mid to late March. So if we haven't heard anything till then, does that mean we will receive a rejection mail? Or is there a delay this year? Does anyone have any information?

I sent an email a week ago and got a response that the applications are still under review and they will contact me as soon as they make a decision. It's still pending on the website. As if they review a single application each day!

I was notified by e-mail.

Accepted to UCSB (15k/year, tuition, health insurance etc). I'm still waiting for Columbia, UPenn, Harvard and NYU. UPenn's grad visit day is on March 16. So I guess I'm out.

What the fuck are they doing at Columbia? I've submitted my application a month before the deadline. Still haven't heard anything though.
