Per title! I am applying to cognitive psychology/neuroscience programs and am trying to figure out if my quant score is good enough or not. I think if I studied math a bunch more and retook the test I could probably get a few points higher, like ~167-8, given that I haven’t done much prep so far and lack of eg geometry knowledge definitely hurt. I’d like my GRE score to be actively helpful when applying and am worried it’s just under that cutoff rn.
In particular, my undergrad GPA is low (3.5) and has very few math classes, although my much more recent and relevant classes masters GPA is 4. So it seems like I might need a higher quant score than this to help counteract that?
