I saw on the results page that someone was on the waitlist at WashU. I haven't received any news from there, so I'm probably just waiting for my rejection. Has anyone heard anything more?

Rejected from UT Austin (MA) and I'm actually surprised. Thought I'd be a good fit. Well, it's not looking good for me this year at all.

Same about expecting a rejection from Rutgers. I think I was a little over optimistic about getting into a PhD program straight out of undergrad. I will be grateful if I get into an MA program.

Applying out of undergrad, graduated in May.
